Job summary

Bimplus in Littlehampton is seeking an experienced Store manager / Material Controller to oversee the store compound on a major residential infrastructure project.

You will manage PPE, equipment and materials, log stock movements, monitor levels, and collaborate with site management, procurement and project teams to keep the stores safe, tidy and compliant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Storeman, Material Controller or storesperson on construction/infrastructure projects.
• Proven PPE and equipment inventory management with accurate stock data logging.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with computerised stock control systems and spreadsheets/databases.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or residential environments is desirable.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Store manager / Material Controller to join a major residential project in Littlehampton on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing store compound, ensuring PPE, equipment and materials are accurately recorded, controlled and readily available to the project team.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Storeman, Material Controller, Storesperson or similar on a construction/infrastructure project.
• Proven experience managing PPE and equipment inventories and accurately logging stock data.
• Strong organisational and administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computerised stock control systems spreadsheets and databases.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience within a large-scale infrastructure, construction, residential environment is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple project teams.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
