Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, seeks a Stores/Inventory professional to maintain shop floor stock and drive replenishment for production areas. You will ensure accurate stock records, implement Kanban/pull systems, and maintain traceability with LOT/Serial numbers and FIFO discipline.
Role requires experience in production control or material management within aerospace settings, familiarity with stock control systems, and BPSS/UK right to work considerations where applicable.
The objective of the Water Spider is to facilitate material issues to meet production plan on the shop floor “due date driven” resolving / raising any issues which would prevent the plan being meet. Parts & Materials must be controlled to ensure accurate stock records, while maintaining identification and protecting their condition to prevent any deterioration during storage. Any removal / request for parts must be via an authorised process.
