Job summary

The Henry Box School is seeking a well-qualified, committed and enthusiastic part-time Teacher of Mathematics for a 1-year fixed term maternity cover. Applications are welcome from ECTs or experienced teachers.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 is essential.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom control.
• Knowledge of planning, assessment and record-keeping.

• Willing to be an effective tutor and contribute to pastoral duties.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
• Willingness to teach PSHE where required.
• Desirable ability to teach KS5 if needed.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to the development of both the subject and the department. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate students as well as have the ability to work well as part of a lively and professional team.
