The Henry Box School in Witney seeks a well-qualified, committed part-time Teacher of Mathematics for a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover. Applications are welcome from ECTs or experienced teachers who can inspire students, work within a lively team and support the department’s development.

The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4, contribute to planning and assessment, and may teach PSHE. DBS clearance and pre-employment checks will be completed in line with safeguarding requirements.

Competenze

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 mathematics.
• Strong planning, assessment and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent teamwork and tutoring abilities, including PSHE where needed.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed and enthusiastic highly skilled part time Teacher of Mathematics to a 1-year fixed term maternity cover at The Henry Box School. Applications are welcome from ECTs or experienced teachers. We are looking for candidates who are committed to the development of both the subject and the department. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate students as well as have the ability to work well as part of a lively and professional team.,

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4
• Effective behaviour management
• Knowledge of planning, assessment and record-keeping
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to be an effective tutor
• Commitment to further training and development
• Willingness and ability to be an effective tutor, including a willingness to teach PSHE
• It would also be desirable for you to be able to teach KS5 if necessary
