Job summary

The Hertfordshire & Essex High School and Science College is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Mathematics to join our Mathematics Department on a fixed-term maternity cover.

You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience; you will contribute to a supportive department committed to high standards and ensuring every student achieves their full potential.

Qualifications

• Strong degree in Mathematics or related subject with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Able to communicate enthusiasm for Mathematics to young learners.
• Delivers engaging, inclusive lessons that motivate students.
• Maintains high expectations of achievement, behaviour and personal development.
• Supports students of all abilities to make excellent progress.
