Job summary

London City Lionesses are seeking casual staff to support matchdays and Club events at the CopperJax Community Stadium in Bromley. Roles include Matchday Activators, Retail Assistants, and Operations Assistants with weekend and evening shifts.

You will help fans on matchdays, assist with crowd activation, and support operations during events, providing excellent customer service and a great spectator experience.

Qualifications

• Essential safeguarding certification (provided if not already held).
• Desirable: specific qualifications related to the role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome spectators to the CopperJax Community Stadium and provide information along routes.
• Assist in crowd activation and run the Fanzone.
• Assist in identifying fans to surprise and delight on special occasions.
• Queue busting and providing general assistance to supporters.
• Meet and greet VIPs and other visitors as hosted by the Club.

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Role Purpose

We are looking for casual staff members to support our matchdays and other Club events. As the Club enters an exciting debut season in the Women’s Super League, additional staff are required to ensure that all visitors to the CopperJax Community Stadium have the best possible experience.

Matchday support staff will assist with various elements of matchdays across fan engagement, matchday operations, retail and media. Responsibilities could vary per match in this exciting and fast-paced environment.

These roles are a great way to experience life behind-the-scenes at a football match, and to gain valuable experience for future roles.

In your application, you will be asked to identify a preference for one of the following positions:

(1) Matchday Activators

• Welcoming spectators to the CopperJax community stadium and providing information along routes from popular public transport stops.
• Assisting in crowd activation and running the Fanzone.
• Assist in identifying fans to surprise and delight on special occasions.
• Queue busting and providing general assistance to supporters.

(2) Matchday Retail Assistants

• Assist in the set up and running of the retail store.
• Provide excellent customer service and have a proactive approach to helping customers in the store.

(3) Matchday Operations Assistants

• Assist Club operations staff with setup and take down tasks related to stadium and matchday readiness.
• Meet and greet VIPs and other visitors being hosted by the Club.
• Assist the First Team Operations Manager and Operations Director.

Qualifications and Training

Essential:

• Safeguarding certification (will be provided if not already achieved)

Desirable:

• Specific qualifications related to the role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
