Job summary

Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a MAT Compliance Officer to join the Central MAT Team. You will support regulatory compliance, information governance, and operational assurance across all schools, coordinating health and safety records and contractor checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Experience providing administrative or compliance support in a busy working environment.
• Experience maintaining accurate records, trackers and evidence against defined requirements.
• High level of proficiency in IT packages, including Google Workspace or equivalent.
• Good understanding of administrative compliance and the importance of accurate, auditable records.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory compliance across all schools.
• Gather and coordinate Health & Safety compliance records.
• Support third-party contractor checks.
• Maintain compliance records and trackers.
• Support UK GDPR and information governance requirements.
• Provide wider compliance checking and administrative support to Operations and Finance.
