Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable family-run automotive business in Oldham for a Master Vehicle Technician. This role offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and long-term stability within a prestige-focused workshop.

You will diagnose and repair prestige vehicles, lead technical initiatives, mentor junior technicians, and maintain high standards of quality and safety while keeping detailed service records and supporting customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Senior or Master Vehicle Technician, preferably within a prestige environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault-finding on prestige vehicles
• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior technicians
• Complete repairs efficiently with high precision
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems and technological developments
• Keep detailed service records and report on work progress
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
