Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (required/essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs including oil changes, brakes, and engine maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Carry out bespoke modifications such as performance upgrades and suspension enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high workmanship standards and timely job completion.
• Explain technical issues and recommendations to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep the workshop clean and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Duties of a Master Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct servicing and repairs, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine maintenance, adhering to manufacturer and industry standards
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues
• Perform bespoke modifications such as performance upgrades, suspension enhancements, and aesthetic modifications
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high standards of workmanship and timely completion of jobs
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining technical issues and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, complying with health and safety regulations

Requirements of a Master Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Valid MOT Tester certification (Class 4 and 7) is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician, with strong diagnostic and repair skills across various vehicle types
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicles is advantageous
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
