You will carry out wall and floor tiling, prepare surfaces, and ensure finishes meet high standards. A clean license and DBS are required, and you will work across various refurbishment projects in East London.

Qualifications

• Experience tiling in social housing properties.
• A clean driver's license and DBS are necessary for this role.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wall and floor tiling repairs, replacements and full installations in social housing properties.
• Prepare surfaces, remove old tiles, repair backgrounds and apply adhesives and waterproofing systems.
• Measure, cut and fit ceramic, porcelain and other tiles accurately.
• Grout, seal and finish tiled areas to a high-quality standard.
• Undertake kitchen and bathroom tiling as part of maintenance and refurbishment programmes.
• Diagnose tiling defects and recommend remedial works.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues, supervisors and other trades.
• Complete work orders, job sheets and photographic evidence where required.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good working order.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure work areas are left clean, tidy and safe on completion.
