Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Master Technician in Sheffield for a busy franchised dealership. Must hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, with strong diagnostic skills and a Full UK driving licence.

Role includes a rotated weekend schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary up to £50,000 per annum OTE, including basic and bonus; 5-day weeks with time-saved bonus and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a busy workshop environment
• Own tools suitable for day-to-day servicing and repair duties

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults
• Complete electronic vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements
• Maintain accurate service records, digital checklists and repair documentation
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to support workshop productivity
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly and vehicles are safe and roadworthy

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy franchised dealership in Sheffield. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Pay / salary: Up to £50,000 per annum OTE, including Basic and bonus
