Role Overview

As a Master Technician at Saxton 4x4, you’ll take on a vital role in ensuring our luxury vehicles meet the highest standards of performance, quality, and safety. Your expertise will be crucial to diagnosing and resolving complex faults, performing precise repairs, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve intricate faults across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct high-quality repairs to ensure vehicles are retail-ready.
• Mentor and assist junior technicians, fostering skill development within the team.
• Collaborate closely with workshop control and service reception to maintain smooth operations.
• Install bespoke modifications and accessories as requested by customers and the salesteam.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, ensuring compliance with warranty and company standards.
• Uphold a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  

Person Specification

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle repair or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician.
• Exceptional diagnostic skills, ideally with premium brands such as JLR, BMW, VAG, or MB.
• In-depth knowledge of diagnostic tools, electrical components, and vehicle mechanics.
• Proven ability to manage workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
