Job summary

Bolt Technical in the UK is recruiting for a Master Data & BOM Analyst to join a growing electrical manufacturing business in Walsall. The role focuses on high-volume BOM creation, accurate data entry, and supporting the engineering team.

You will convert customer BOMs (2,000–3,000+ lines) into an internal quoting tool and input data into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and supporting master data processes.

Qualifications

• This role requires a data-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience creating multi-level BOMs and handling high-volume BOM/data entry.
• Electrical or electronic manufacturing background essential.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong Excel and data-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex, multi-level BOMs.
• Convert large customer BOMs into internal systems.
• Accurately enter high volumes of data into ERP systems.
• Ensure item and BOM data is accurate and complete.

Master Data & BOM Controller

Location: Walsall

Salary: £33,000–£38,000

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:15, Friday 08:00–12:00

About the Role

BOLT Technical are recruiting for a Master Data & BOM Analyst to join a growing electrical manufacturing business.

This role is primarily focused on high-volume BOM creation and accurate data entry, supporting the engineering team and freeing up engineers to focus on production engineering.

You’ll take customer BOMs, often containing 2,000–3,000+ lines, convert them into an internal quoting tool and then manually input the data line-by-line into the ERP system.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a data-focused mindset, exceptional attention to detail and experience creating complex, multi-level BOMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex, multi-level BOMs
