Job summary

Orion Electrotech in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bills of Materials (BOM) & Item Master Controller to own critical product data, BOM structures and engineering change control processes. You will support the Production team and ensure accurate master data.

The role requires 3 years in manufacturing or master data, advanced Excel, and ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing, planning, engineering, or master data management.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures and MRP principles.
• ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Take production information from customers and create Bills of Materials.
• Create and maintain multi-level BOM structures.
• Manage BOM revisions, effectivity dates and engineering change implementation.
• Support MRP planning activities and resolve data-related planning exceptions.
• Drive master data standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the link between Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality and Finance.
