Job summary

The Massage Company is looking for a qualified Massage Therapist in Camberley, Surrey, for part-time hours with potential to move to full-time. Friday, Saturday or Sunday plus flexible weekday shifts are available, roughly 12–20 hours per week.

The role includes delivering 50–80 minute sessions, using Swedish, Deep Tissue or Sports massage, and taking part in our certified training programme. You will join a friendly team with steady clientele and attractive earning potential.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to BTEC / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (International qualifications welcome).
• Knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue, or Sports Massage techniques.
• Willingness to learn advanced techniques from our TMC Certified training programme.
• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with customers, front desk team and management.
• Able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.
• Understand and believe in the physical and lifestyle benefits of high-quality, good value massage that fits in with our customers' lives.
• Perform consecutive 50-minute to 80-minute quality massage therapy sessions.
• Promote our internal upgrades of hot stones, scalp massage, aromatherapy or fantastic foot treatment' (all will be trained)
• Conduct specific massage sessions based on customer's individual needs

Responsibilities

• Perform consecutive 50-minute to 80-minute massage sessions for clients.
• Provide high-quality massage and maintain client comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism of therapy rooms and areas.
• Engage customers and promote memberships and upgrades.
• Attend training and ongoing accreditation modules.

Salary: £12.25 per hour, range £13.25 to £17.25 including commissions and unbooked hours.

Position requirements:

• Must be qualified to BTEC / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (International qualifications welcome)
• Knowledge of Swedish, or Deep Tissue, or Sports Massage techniques
• Willingness to learn more advanced techniques from our TMC Certified training programme, which is specifically designed to protect your joints from excessive pressures and extend your working career
• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with customers, front desk team and management
• Able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
• Understand and believe in the physical and lifestyle benefits of high-quality, good value massage that fits in with our customers' lives
• Perform consecutive 50-minute to 80-minute quality massage therapy sessions (regular breaks are mandatory)
• Promote our internal upgrades of hot stones, scalp massage, aromatherapy or fantastic foot treatment' (all will be trained)
• Conduct specific massage sessions based on customer's individual needs
• Promote the health and wellness benefits to customer`s receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
• Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude
• Provide excellent massage therapy to support the retention of TMC Members, who pay for a monthly membership (one massage a month)
• Maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Must be able to speak a standard of English that enables you to communicate professionally with our clients
