Job summary

Cambridge County Council is seeking a MASH Social Worker to join the team for the second half of the week (Wed–Fri) in Huntingdon. You will focus on safeguarding children, risk assessment, and swift decision-making in a dynamic multi-agency environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to assess risk and determine appropriate services.
• Experience collaborating with multi-agency partners such as police and health.

Responsibilities

• Carry out timely child protection risk assessments and plans.
• Work with partner agencies to safeguard children and families.
• Complete associated reports (S47, ICPC, court reports) as required.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and escalation when needed.
• Contribute to SMART planning and outcomes for children.
