Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a seasoned MASH Decision Maker to join Northamptonshire Children's Trust. You will assess contacts and referrals, gather information from partner agencies, and make timely, defensible safeguarding decisions within statutory deadlines.

The role is hybrid, with one day office-based and 1.5 days remote, and requires Enhanced DBS. It offers a 3-month contract and the chance to influence safeguarding outcomes for children and families in a dynamic multi-agency

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Children’s Social Care.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection background.
• Experience using MASH, assessment, duty teams and child protection processes.
• Ability to screen referrals and make threshold decisions with sound risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and process incoming referrals and contacts.
• Collect and assess information from partner agencies.
• Make informed, defensible decisions within statutory deadlines.
• Conduct threshold decision-making and assess safeguarding risks.
• Identify interventions and service responses.
• Ensure referral decisions are made within 24 hours when necessary.
• Deliver high-quality casework decisions and oversee referral information.
• Collaborate with MASH partners and multi-agency professionals.
• Support development of effective safety plans centering children’s voices.
