Job summary

Sky in Livingston is seeking a Solution Architect to drive architecture for a UK&I portfolio. You will engage with enterprise, product and engineering teams to distill initiatives into clear capability changes and guide delivery across customer engagement, sales, CRM and more.

The role emphasizes capability-led architecture, governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with Sky’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to break down initiatives into capability-based changes.
• Skilled at simplifying complex requirements into clear architectural guidance.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams to align solutions.
• Expertise in relevant MarTech areas such as CDP, analytics, decisioning and personalisation.
• Experience with governance processes and maintaining architectural principles.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise and system architecture, and product and engineering teams, to distill initiatives into capability changes.
• Challenge commercial and operational requirements, proposing simpler, value-preserving approaches.
• Role-model a capability-led architecture approach and contribute to the capability model.
• Help build the architecture runway informed by objectives and strategy.
• Collaborate to strive for technical excellence, collaboration and delivery.
• Contribute to governance forums and ensure alignment with strategy and priorities.
• Participate in enterprise governance while balancing pragmatic delivery needs.
