Job summary

Sky is recruiting for a Senior Solution Architect to drive architecture across a UK&I portfolio. You will engage with enterprise, product, and engineering teams to distill complex requirements into actionable architectural guidance and help shape the architecture runway in line with business objectives.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with multiple delivery teams across Livingston, Leeds, and Osterley, contributing to governance processes and ensuring design consistency while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience in solution architecture across teams.
• Ability to distill complex requirements into clear guidance.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams to align solutions.
• Leadership and governance experience in architecture.
• Ability to engage in governance processes and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise and system architecture, and product and engineering teams, breaking initiatives into capability changes.
• Challenge commercial and operational requirements, proposing alternate approaches where they add value.
• Role-model the capability-led approach to architecture and documentation, embedding its use in the team.
• Help build the architecture runway for your portfolio, aligned with objectives and strategy.
• Collaborate with peers to strive for technical excellence, collaboration, and delivery.
• Contribute to solution architecture governance and engage in enterprise governance forums.
• Balance alignment with Architecture strategy and UK&I priorities in governance forums.
