Job summary

Huntingdonshire District Council seeks a passionate individual to assist with the operation of our markets in Huntingdon and St Neots. You will act as the primary on-site contact for traders and the public, ensuring smooth, safe daily operation and representing the council.

Roles can be full-time with 37 hours per week, and part-time market-day opportunities are available. A full manual driving licence is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/frontline customer service and ability to build relationships.
• Must be aged 18+ and hold a full manual car driving licence.
• Able to work outdoors in all UK weather and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of markets in Huntingdon and St Neots.
• Act as on-site contact for market traders and members of the public.
• Ensure day-to-day operation is safe and representative of the council.
• Assist with part-time market days on a pro-rated basis.
