JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Applied AI Engineer to shape AI solutions for Markets Operations.

You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable AI services integrated with strategic systems, collaborating with software engineers, AI and data science specialists, and operations partners to improve workflows and production readiness. The role focuses on Python services, APIs, data pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring, and end-to-end deployment, contributing to enterprise-grade AI capabilities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong Python programming skills.
Experience designing RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI).
Experience building ETL/data pipelines and data engineering workflows.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of databases and data modeling.
Familiarity with monitoring, controls, and production stability.
Effective written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts.
Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

Contribute to AI technology and architecture patterns for Markets Operations.
Build scalable AI services and supporting infrastructure.
Collaborate with AI/data science to deploy services integrated with strategic systems.
Learn Markets Operations processes and develop integrations with banking systems.
Evaluate new AI infrastructure technologies and share findings.
Document designs and trade-offs for maintainability.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI/ML in production.
Partner with stakeholders to translate workflow pain points into solutions.
