Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Applied AI Engineer in London to design, build, test, and deploy scalable AI services integrated with core systems and workflows. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI).
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and data modeling in production systems.
• Hands-on use of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring, controls, and compliance in production environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Collaborative work across multi-disciplinary teams and ability to incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to patterns enabling AI solutions across Markets Operations and software engineering use cases.
• Build scalable, reusable AI services and supporting infrastructure with modern tech.
• Collaborate with AI & data science teams to design, test, and deploy services integrated with strategic systems.
• Learn Markets Operations processes and translate pain points into practical integrations.
• Evaluate new AI infra technologies and share findings to guide decisions.
• Document designs and tradeoffs to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI/ML solutions in production.
