Marketplace Executive

Permanent

Location: Leeds, LS9

Salary: Up to £27,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with an established and well-recognised flooring company based in Leeds, who are looking for a Marketplace Specialist to manage and grow their online Ecommerce presence. The role will be responsible for taking the business' Marketplace presence to the next step, through management of the inventory, listings and growing the platform into new retailers.

Main Responsibilities of the Marketplace Executive:

1. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring that products and listings are accurate and up to date.
2. Manage product pricing and representation.
3. Build and monitor the effectiveness of pages on the marketplace, including analysing key metrics and making recommendations for improvements to the Senior Management.
4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all marketplace operations are standardised and streamlined.
5. Communicate effectively with Senior Management, Internal Teams, and Warehouse.
6. Process customer orders, answer inbound calls, sales order processing, and assist with sales contribution activities.
7. Liaise with Warehouse in distribution and customer order updates.
8. Keep customers up to date with delivery updates and shipment notifications.
9. Actively engage with current or prospective customers via social media and online chat.

Experience and Skills Required:

1. Experience in operations from a Marketplace or Ecommerce background.
2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Technical ability with the skill to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
5. Must have great attention to detail.
6. Must be a fast learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
