Job Description:

Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies? If so, our client, a professional membership organisation, is looking to appoint a Marketing and Engagement Executive to their marketing team. This role could also be attractive to a candidate looking to step up to Senior Marketing and Engagement Executive level. This role will focus on the promotion of the organisation and will support the delivery and implementation of marketing plans, including events and membership. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Sales, you will develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, providing the delivery of excellent marketing plans, coordinating activities using a range of marketing channels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Using a data-led approach to develop and refine marketing plans
  • Liaising with the Events Manager to oversee all marketing activities at external exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
  • Creating compelling written and visual content for digital and printed marketing collateral
  • Utilising data analytics to uncover market trends and patterns, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Generating comprehensive reports to support data-driven decision-making
  • Overseeing the website, developing content, and keeping it updated, ensuring pages are optimised for SEO and target audience

Applicants should have demonstrable experience in a marketing role, preferably within a membership organisation, non-profit sector, or academic publishing. The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be capable of creating compelling content for various marketing channels.
