Job summary

Cloud Imperium Games is seeking a Marketing Producer to drive and deliver marketing projects across our web and creative teams. You will work closely with our Platform Technologies and Creative teams to align objectives, schedules, and asset delivery, while maintaining flexible workflows across time zones.

You will manage multiple campaigns, communicate clearly with global teams, and foster a proactive, organized culture focused on results.

Qualifications

• Notable experience as a Producer or Project Coordinator, especially with digital web or creative experience.
• Experience with a live game is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing leadership to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Break down tasks and schedule work to meet deadlines.
• Identify and address risks; propose improvements for future efficiency.
• Collaborate with Platform Technologies team in Montreal to define objectives and plans.
• Coordinate asset delivery (images, videos, copy) with Creative team in Manchester and with Social, CRM, PR and Community teams.
• Act as liaison between web and creative teams and other departments across multiple time zones; maintain clear communication and accountability.
• Keep internal marketing confluence pages, team documentation, and action items up to date.

Our marketing team serves as the link between the company and our passionate community. In addition to supporting the wider marketing team, this role will be working closely with our web and creative teams to drive and execute our marketing promotions and initiatives across all our international offices.

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We are currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. What does a Marketing Producer do?

Support marketing leadership by helping to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, while fostering a motivated team and a culture of success.

Act independently as a manager of various projects by breaking down tasks so that every aspect of the project is well-understood and appropriately scheduled to meet deadlines well in advance, while proactively identifying and addressing any risks that may arise.

When issues do occur, use independent judgment and collaborative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and make recommendations to solve future problems and improve effectiveness.

Collaborate with our Platform Technologies team in Montreal, Canada to define web project objectives, create project plans and trackers, and manage changes and feedback until successful project completion.

Collaborate with our Creative team in Manchester, UK to coordinate asset delivery (images, videos and copy) for new webpages, as well as our Social, CRM, PR and Community teams.

Serve as the primary liaison between the web and creative teams and other departments, and be responsible for facilitating communication, organization, and accountability within geo-distributed marketing teams in Los Angeles (USA), Austin (USA), Montreal (Canada), Frankfurt (Germany) and Manchester (UK). This may require occasional adjusted work hours to coordinate better with teams in various time zones.
