Job summary

Irwin Mitchell LLP in Manchester is seeking a BD & Marketing Operations Executive to support the day-to-day operation of the Business Development & Marketing function. You will coordinate governance, manage records and reporting, and help drive continuous improvement across the team.

The role requires detailed, collaborative work across Finance, Procurement, HR, Technology and Risk & Compliance, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, supplier onboarding, dashboards and leadership meeting

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, administration, business support, project support or marketing operations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with budgets, procurement processes or business administration.
• Ability to analyse information and produce reports and management information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting budget management, forecasting, purchase orders and financial administration.
• Coordinating supplier onboarding, contracts, procurement activity and spend tracking.
• Producing and maintaining management information, reports and operational dashboards.
• Preparing materials for leadership meetings and tracking actions to completion.
• Maintaining departmental policies, procedures, records and governance documentation.
• Supporting audits, compliance activities and risk management processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and ways of working.
• Coordinating onboarding, team communications, operational meetings and planning activities.
• Supporting business change projects and the implementation of new systems and processes.
