The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. The role involves the day-to-day execution of activities supporting Shanghai Me London. Candidates should possess strong organization, flexibility, and creativity skills. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager. A keen interest and knowledge in the F&B, brand, and marketing industries are essential, along with a willingness to learn more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating content briefs for marketing activations
- Developing and proposing a localized marketing calendar to the Global Brand Marketing Manager
- Supporting the execution of restaurant activations
- Managing events, overseeing them as a professional mission, and maintaining alignment with the global brand strategy
- Assisting with private dining events (PDR), including resource support such as flowers and menu design, with seamless communication
- Proposing a social media calendar with a localized approach
- Overseeing digital campaigns to increase awareness, build brand equity, and convert guests into loyal customers
- Collaborating with the brand and operations teams to meet business needs
- Developing brand collaterals and maintaining consistent tone of voice across platforms
- Responding to direct messages from guests across platforms
- Managing external agencies (Graphic Design, PR, Digital Marketing) to deliver results that enhance brand visibility
- Keeping records of challenges and achievements through monthly reports
- Working with the Brand Manager to ensure brand standards are met
- Coordinating photoshoots and videoshoots
- Preparing monthly BRM reports including social media, PR, and digital marketing insights
Qualifications and Experience:
- 4-5 years in Brand/Marketing, preferably within the F&B industry
- Proficiency in the local language
- Hospitality/F&B background
- Understanding of the London F&B scene
- Awareness of current cultural, social, and dining trends
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience collaborating with front and back of house teams
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, articulate, patient, hospitable, creative, and positive
- Capable of working independently and as part of a global team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to quality and detail
- Experience in content creation, digital marketing, events, budgeting, reporting, and managing external agencies
- Self-motivated with a solution-oriented mindset
- Educational background in marketing preferred
- Excellent social media skills, content creation, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Canva
