About the Role:
As Marketing Manager for Y Not, this role can be based in our London or Derbyshire office, depending on your location. You will be responsible for content and branding onsite at the festival, requiring travel to and presence on site during the build and breakdown, as well as site visits. You will also attend our other festivals, Truck and Tramlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day marketing campaigns for Y NOT Festival, ensuring timely delivery within budget and KPIs.
- Present marketing plans and assets for approval to the Group Head of Marketing.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, and collaborate with the team for optimizations.
- Manage artist announcements and marketing activities, coordinating with the Festival Assistant and ensuring accuracy of assets.
- Oversee PR, digital, and social media agency management.
- Manage festival social channels and digital assets, briefing agencies and ensuring KPI and budget adherence.
- Implement and oversee the eCRM plan.
- Manage the marketing budget within approved parameters.
- Brief and approve marketing assets and materials in a timely manner.
- Recruit third-party partners and devise promotional activities to increase ticket sales and awareness.
- Base decisions on data and insights; prepare key documents like budgets and calendars for stakeholders.
- Oversee onsite photography and filming for the events.
Your Knowledge and Experience
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in planning, managing, and executing marketing campaigns for music or music events brands across multiple channels.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting campaign performance, making adjustments as needed.
- Experience working with external suppliers such as press agencies.
- Experience managing and developing junior marketing team members.
- Content creation skills, including using platforms like CapCut.
- Experience managing marketing budgets effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite applications.
Soft Skills
- Passion for music and live events, preferably a festival or gig enthusiast.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator across all levels, including senior management.
- Professional negotiation skills with suppliers.

Must hold a full UK driving licence and proof of valid UK Work Rights.
Role requires flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, late nights, especially leading up to events, and effective time management.
