Job summary

Covetrus is a global animal-health technology leader seeking a Marketing Manager on a 12-month maternity contract to drive UK and international marketing activities. You will shape content and campaigns for Vi's products, services and proposition, guiding senior leadership to communicate value to partners.

You will own digital presence, identify opportunities for audience growth, and ensure SEO, web and email marketing are optimised.

More about the role

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Marketing activities and Veterinary Instrumentation brand, within both the UK and International markets we serve.

You will be involved in the creation and communication of marketing content, tools and resources across a variety of products, technologies and platforms, guiding the Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Management team to deliver the most effective means of communicating the value of Vi's products, services and proposition to our valued partners.

Digital marketing is a crucial aspect of this role, with you owning Vi's digital presence and identity, regularly identifying opportunities for audience growth and business performance in this area.

Responsible with the Senior Marketing Manager in supporting Vi's core strategy, specialist brand and CSR programme, you will also ensure the successful execution of these, enhancing Vi's standing within the industry we operate.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure the continuous adoption of brand guidelines, delivering a consistent approach across all touchpoints with our partners
• Manage the design, production and delivery of all key marketing materials and platforms, across both digital and traditional channels ensuring they are within corporate branding guidelines
• Ensure modern SEO focused content is updated to the website on a routine basis, analysing website traffic and performance, producing data driven insights which help steer conversion to sales
• Preparation, scheduling and ongoing development of Vi's Social Media strategy and content.
• Delivery organic growth of Vi's brand on these key Social Media platforms, growing Vi's reach, presence, and community on these key platforms
• Monitor and regularly report on the performance of all key digital platforms
• Understand the customer journey, adopting insight selling based methodologies
• Lead responsibility for Vi's email marketing campaign with support e of the product manager and commercial team, delivering successful campaigns which increase engagement levels and actions taken by our audience,
• Develop, own and report on Vi's online customer review process and complementary systems and platforms
• Development of photography and videography content, ensuring relevant product and clinical shoots are scheduled and take place
• Deliver copywrite and engaging content for key adverts, journals, publications, webinars etc
• Support the development of Vi's international operation, developing bespoke advertisements and marketing content, tailored to the needs of the local market, region and strategies adopted to our intercompany and distribution partners
• Supporting ticketing the Product Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies and product campaigns
• Working with the Product Manager, review general market trends and act upon them, ensuring Vi remain at the forefront of the market we operate within.

What we’re looking for

Experience: Ideally you will have 5 years experience within a commercially orientated marketing environment and organisation.

Education: Marketing degree (or relevant qualifications to demonstrate marketing knowledge).

Specialised Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to articulate and influence key strategic decisions & build relationships
• High standard of organisational and project management skills
• Copywriting ability and creative flair and confidence with a positive can do attitude
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work in a demanding environment and to budget
• Strong analytical, insight development and reporting skills
• Web management experience is essential (Magento experience is highly beneficial)
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud system and competent with E-CRM applications
• Experience with 3rd party platforms such as Hootsuite, Canva, monday.com

Other

• Fully adept with Microsoft Office programs
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proactive team player who can work autonomously and as part of a team
• Become an ambassador for the Vi brand

Location: Flexible role from home with occasional travel to our Sheffield office.
