Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting a Marketing Manager to join a leading organisation in Belfast on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid and focuses on local marketing initiatives across Northern Ireland, while contributing to regional campaigns.

You will work with local teams and senior stakeholders to develop campaigns that drive customer engagement, support commercial objectives and deliver measurable results. Strong campaign management and digital marketing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4/5 years' marketing experience with a relevant third-level qualification, or 5+ years' practical marketing experience.
• Proven experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns from concept through to execution.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and customer-focused marketing activity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A structured approach to problem solving.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• A full driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver local marketing plans across multiple locations.
• Lead selected regional marketing campaigns across Northern Ireland.
• Work closely with Store Managers, Operations teams and internal stakeholders to understand local requirements.
• Develop engaging marketing materials in collaboration with internal design teams and external agencies.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective use of spend.
• Monitor campaign performance and use insights to improve future activity.
• Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand guidelines, commercial objectives and customer needs.
• Present marketing plans and campaign results to a range of stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

About You

They are looking for a passionate, creative and results-driven marketing professional with strong experience in campaign management.

You will ideally have:

• 4/5 years' marketing experience with a relevant third-level qualification, or 5+ years' practical marketing experience.
• Proven experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns from concept through to execution.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and customer-focused marketing activity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A structured approach to problem solving.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• A full driving licence and access to a car.

Desirable

• Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• CIM or postgraduate marketing qualification.
• Experience within FMCG, B2B, retail or another customer-focused environment.
• Experience within the food or grocery retail sector.
