The role will support five key business areas within the aerospace and marine industries, supporting the co-ordination and delivery of marketing activities across the full marketing mix.

This is a part‑time role, but we are open to different working patterns depending on the successful candidate’s availability. We expect the role to be around 15-20 hours per week but depending on the candidate’s availability, this could either be done over 2-3 days or spread out over the week. The role will suit someone who has some marketing experience already and is looking for their next role, or someone who is just starting out in their career. We would also consider someone who is studying and wants to work alongside their marketing studies.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of different marketing channels, excellent organisational skills, strong written English and an eye for design. They will have a good understanding of digital marketing channels and the ability to use (or willingness to learn how to use) a Content Management System (CMS), social media platforms and design packages. The role requires someone who has superb attention to detail and can work quickly and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.

This role will be based in our Bristol office. This is a 1‑year fixed‑term role, but with the possibility to extend or become permanent.

  • Event support – supporting the wider business in preparations for attending and exhibiting at industry events throughout the year, ranging from small UK events to large overseas exhibitions.
  • Website support – creating, editing and publishing webpages, including product pages and insights/blogs.
  • Social media – creating and scheduling regular posts to support brand awareness, product promotion, event attendance and recruitment, and following sign off processes.
  • Presentations – supporting the creation and editing of presentation slides for client meetings for our five key business units.
  • Brand – adhering to the Stirling brand including key messages and visual identity
