Butler Rose is partnering with a local Lancashire business to appoint a Marketing Executive for a 12-month maternity cover. The role oversees content, campaigns and digital channels, with ownership of the marketing remit and regular reporting.

The successful candidate will bring creative, commercially minded marketing, WordPress familiarity, social media management including LinkedIn, and strong copywriting.

Qualifications

• Experience planning marketing content, writing compelling copy and delivering campaigns from concept through to completion.
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Experience managing professional social media channels, with content for LinkedIn.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for marketing materials.
• Experience using email campaign software and CRM systems.
• Confidence interpreting digital marketing data using GA4 / Search Console / Semrush.
• Photographic and image-editing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to organise projects, manage deadlines and prioritise.
• Commercial mindset to drive customer acquisition and growth.
• Self-starting attitude to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the marketing schedule, develop campaigns and content plans aligning with commercial priorities.
• Keep the website fresh and engaging by creating articles, updating pages and improving landing pages.
• Oversee LinkedIn activity, creating content and supporting the team with materials to develop new business opportunities.
• Create professional marketing assets for online and offline use reflecting brand standards.
• Develop and distribute email campaigns and newsletters to engage existing audiences and reach new customers.
• Capture and edit photographs for use across channels and materials.
• Monitor campaign performance and digital engagement, report regularly and identify improvements.
• Provide support across marketing projects and take on additional tasks as priorities evolve.
