Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a business that designs and manufactures hazardous area lighting for safe use in explosive atmospheres.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll join a small, collaborative marketing team where you'll enjoy a varied, hands-on role covering the full marketing mix. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning projects from concept through to delivery and is keen to broaden their experience across digital marketing, content, events, product marketing and communications.

While specialist agencies support areas such as PPC, website development and design, you'll manage many day-to-day marketing activities in-house and act as a key liaison between the business and external partners.

Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Content Management
  • Deliver agreed multi-channel digital marketing activity—including website updates, landing pages and SEO/content optimisation—working closely with our external digital agency on targeted B2B lead generation campaigns.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, including audience segmentation, automated workflows, lead capture forms and campaign performance analytics.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of social media channels (organic and paid), creating engaging content calendars to drive B2B audience growth.
  • Turn complex technical information from technical teams into clear, customer-focused collateral, datasheets, brochures, and case studies.
  • Support new product launches by coordinating promotional assets, approved campaign messaging and marketing deliverables.
  • Provide day-to-day marketing assets, presentations and collateral to support the internal sales team and international distributor network.
Events & Exhibitions
  • Plan and execute industry trade shows, exhibitions and customer events throughout the year.
  • Manage event logistics, stand assets, lead-capture processes and coordinate post-event nurture campaigns to maximise event return on investment.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external agencies (PPC, web, design and PR), ensuring projects, ad placements and assets are delivered on time and on brand.
  • Support trade press advertising, PR opportunities and internal communications, such as company newsletters.
Asset Management, Analytics & Operations
  • Track campaign performance across different platforms, compiling clear performance reports for the Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain marketing project plans, content calendars and trackers, proactively following up outstanding information, actions and approvals to keep activity on schedule.
  • Produce in-house multimedia content (photography, basic video production) and maintain organised digital asset libraries with strict version control.
  • Assist with routine marketing administration, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, budget tracking and basic e-commerce listing maintenance (Amazon).
  • Proofread and quality-check marketing materials for accuracy, consistency and compliance with brand guidelines before they are submitted for approval and publication.
  • Carry out competitor research and market monitoring to identify industry trends.
  • Perform other reasonable marketing duties as required to support business objectives.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • A minimum of three years’ experience within a broad B2B marketing role.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practice and content optimisation.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns from planning through to reporting.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Confidence working with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Basic video editing experience.

Although a recognised marketing qualification, such as a marketing degree, CIM qualification or equivalent, would be desirable, strong relevant practical experience and evidence of continued professional development will also be considered.

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • SEMrush.
  • Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • AI-assisted marketing tools.
  • Experience managing Amazon Marketplace listings.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical B2B environments.
