Marketing Executive, A growing travel industry business is seeking a commercially focused Marketing Executive to join its team. This hands-on role will manage customer communications across email, SMS and emerging channels, alongside automated journeys, partner campaigns, website activity, social media and performance analysis across two established travel brands. £30K-£35K, dependent upon experience. Hybrid Working. London-based.
Marketing Executive Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver newsletters, promotional emails, SMS and relevant RCS campaigns.
- Build and manage automated customer journeys, including welcome, abandoned browse/basket, renewal and re-engagement activity.
- Develop audience segments based on behaviour, engagement and lifecycle stage.
- Build and troubleshoot HTML email templates, ensuring mobile responsiveness and cross-platform compatibility.
- Test subject lines, creative, send times and channels to improve engagement and conversion.
- Manage partner campaign scheduling, coordinating assets, deadlines and send frequency to avoid over-contacting subscribers.
- Monitor campaign results, identify insights and provide recommendations based on performance.
- Support website promotions, product updates and customer journeys alongside editorial, design and digital teams.
- Assist with social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Support paid search and social campaigns where required.
- Monitor developments in AI, marketing technology, RCS and digital travel marketing.
Marketing Executive Experience Required:
- 2+ years' digital marketing experience, ideally within travel, media or publishing.
- Hands-on experience with email, SMS, CRM or lifecycle marketing.
- Experience using platforms such as Insider One, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Force24, HubSpot or Mailchimp.
- Confident editing HTML email templates, with knowledge of responsive and email-safe coding.
- Experience with automated journeys, triggered campaigns and audience segmentation.
- Strong organisational and campaign scheduling skills.
- Comfortable analysing campaign data, including deliverability, engagement, CTR, conversion and database growth.
- Familiarity with GA4 and SEO principles.
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Express; CapCut or Premiere Pro experience is advantageous.
- Interest in emerging channels such as RCS is desirable.
