Job description

Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)

About RFB Legal

At RFB, we’ve been helping individuals, businesses and investors navigate complex legal matters since 1948.

Today, we’re one of the UK’s leading law firms, recommended by The Legal 500 and trusted by clients across the UK and beyond.

Marketing plays a key role within the firm. From major website projects and digital campaigns to video production, events, podcasts and brand development, we’re constantly looking for new ways to improve how we communicate with our clients and grow the firm.

We’re now looking for a creative, ambitious, and highly organised Marketing Executive to join our growing in-house marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants genuine responsibility, varied work and the chance to develop across every area of marketing.

Unlike many legal marketing roles, previous experience in the legal sector isn’t required. We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and ambition.

If you’re looking for a marketing role where you can have a real say, take ownership of projects and see your ideas come to life, this could be a great fit.

About the Role

No two days are the same.

Working closely with our Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Executive, Developers and Consultants, you’ll support the delivery of marketing activity across the firm’s departments, helping bring ideas to life through engaging content, creative design and digital marketing.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across:

  • Website and digital projects
  • Content creation and copywriting
  • Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok)
  • SEO and PPC
  • PR
  • Graphic design
  • Photography and video
  • Podcasts
  • Events and sponsorships
  • Brand development
  • Reporting and analytics
  • AI and emerging marketing technology

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of marketing and is keen to develop a broad range of skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging digital assets for social media, email campaigns, the website and internal communications.
  • Design marketing collateral including brochures, advertisements, event materials and presentations.
  • Produce creative content that aligns with the RFB Legal brand and visual identity.
  • Support photography and video production projects, including basic editing where required.
  • Write clear, engaging copy for the website, social media, emails and campaigns.
  • Work with our SEO consultant to help produce SEO-focused articles and optimise existing website content.
  • Upload and maintain website content using WordPress.
  • Help coordinate marketing projects and keep multiple workstreams organised.
  • Assist with the organisation and promotion of events, sponsorships and firm initiatives.
  • Monitor marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console, helping identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Explore and use AI and emerging marketing tools to improve content creation, workflows and campaign delivery.
  • Support the wider Marketing team with new projects and initiatives as the firm continues to grow.
About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally creative, organised and eager to learn.

You don’t need years of experience – we’re far more interested in attitude, curiosity and a genuine passion for marketing.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • 0-2 years’ experience in a marketing or creative role.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of typography, layout and branding.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop) and/or Canva. Experience with Premiere Pro would also be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Some understanding of SEO and content optimisation.
  • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms would be beneficial.
  • The ability to work across multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
  • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • An interest in digital marketing, technology and how new tools such as AI are changing the way marketing teams work.

A degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Law or a related subject is welcome, but not essential. We’re equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills through work experience, internships, freelance work or personal projects.

Bonus points if you have experience with:
  • Photography
  • Video production or editing
  • Google Analytics or Search Console
  • PPC or digital advertising
  • AI or marketing automation tools
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000.
  • 23 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
  • Professional development and opportunities to build your skills across multiple areas of marketing.
  • Clear opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you develop and the Marketing team grows.
  • Access to industry events and conferences.
  • A modern office in the heart of London’s legal district in Holborn.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • The opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, with genuine responsibility from day one.
Show Us What You Can Do

We’d love to see examples of your work.

This could include graphic design, social media content, photography, video, writing, university projects, freelance work or personal projects – it doesn’t need to be a formal portfolio.

We’re ultimately looking for someone with creativity, curiosity and the ambition to develop into a well-rounded marketer.
