Wessex Internet is seeking a Marketing Executive to join our growing team and connect more people with our full-fibre network. This entry‑level role is ideal for graduates or those starting in marketing, offering exposure to digital campaigns, SEO, content creation and local activity.

You'll work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and external partners to deliver engaging campaigns, update content and measure what works across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Some marketing experience or exposure, gained through employment, university, an internship, apprenticeship or personal projects.
• Strong written communication with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfort with analysing data and learning new marketing tools.
• It would be great to have a degree in Marketing or related field and CMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of digital and local marketing campaigns across paid media, social media and build-area activity.
• Create, update and maintain website content, landing pages, blogs and campaign materials.
• Support SEO with keyword research, on-page optimization and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate localised activity such as door drops and customer acquisition campaigns.
• Monitor marketing performance and derive insights to inform future activity.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team and external partners to deliver timely campaigns.

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join our growing Marketing team and help us connect more people with our full‑fibre network.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their marketing career — whether you're a recent graduate, have completed an apprenticeship or placement, or already have some hands‑on marketing experience and are ready to take the next step.

You'll work closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the wider Marketing team and external digital marketing partners, gaining experience across a broad range of marketing channels including digital campaigns, website content, SEO, paid media, social media and local marketing.

No two days will be exactly the same. You'll help bring campaigns to life, create and update content, support marketing activity in our build areas and use data to understand what's working.

What you'll be doing as a Marketing Executive with Wessex Internet:

• Support the delivery of digital and local marketing campaigns, including paid media, social media and activity across new network build areas.
• Create, update and maintain website content, landing pages, blogs and campaign materials.
• Support SEO activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and monitoring search performance.
• Coordinate localised marketing activity, including door drops, build-area campaigns and customer acquisition activity.
• Monitor website, campaign and marketing performance, helping to identify trends, insights and opportunities.
• Work closely with the Marketing team, wider business and external agencies to deliver accurate, engaging and timely marketing activity.

Key Requirements for the Marketing Executive role at Wessex Internet:

• Some marketing experience or exposure, gained through employment, university, an internship, apprenticeship, placement or personal projects.
• A genuine interest in marketing and digital channels, with enthusiasm to develop a career in the field.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good IT and analytical skills, with confidence learning new systems and working with marketing data.
• A proactive, collaborative and willing‑to‑learn approach, with the ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues and external partners.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• A degree or qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related subject.
• Experience using a website CMS.
• Some knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads or Microsoft Ads.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console or similar tools.
• Experience creating or scheduling social media content.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or other content creation tools.
