Job summary

Heyn Group is seeking a Part-Time Marketing Executive to tell our story, strengthen our brand, and support campaigns across our Engineering, Environmental, Forktrucks and Shipping divisions. This role offers ownership of marketing activity and development of content across social media, email, events, and digital channels.

You will work closely with management and engineering teams to showcase specialised projects and expertise while gaining exposure to campaigns, analytics, and content creation

Qualifications

• Marketing qualification or 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience using social media platforms for business
• Knowledge of GA4 and Google Ads
• Able to write and present reports

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and website updates
• Manage and grow LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social channels
• Write customer stories, case studies, and company news articles
• Support email marketing campaigns and customer communications
• Promote exhibitions, events, sponsorships, and company initiatives
• Assist with website content updates and SEO improvements
• Monitor marketing performance and report on campaign results
• Create graphics, videos, and other marketing materials using Adobe or similar tools

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Part-Time Marketing Executive to help tell our story, strengthen our brand, and support exciting marketing campaigns across our Engineering, Environmental, Forktrucks and Shipping divisions.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of marketing activity within a well-established and respected materials handling business while developing your skills across content creation, social media, email marketing, events, and digital marketing.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating engaging content for social media, blogs, and website updates

Managing and growing our LinkedIn, Facebook, and opening other social channels

Writing customer success stories, case studies, and company news articles

Supporting email marketing campaigns and customer communications

Helping to promote exhibitions, events, sponsorships, and company initiatives

Assisting with website content updates and SEO improvements

Monitoring marketing performance and reporting on campaign results

Creating graphics, videos, and other marketing materials using Adobe or similar tools

Working closely with our management and engineering teams to showcase projects and expertise

We are looking for someone who is:

• Creative and full of ideas
• An excellent communicator and writer
• Organised and capable of managing their own workload
• Strong interest in digital marketing, e-commerce, and partnerships
• Curious about learning new things and understanding technical products
• Comfortable creating content from scratch
• Confident in creating and presenting reports

Essential skills and working knowledge:

• A qualification (HND/HNC or degree) in Marketing or related fields, or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of using social media platforms for business-related activities
• Working knowledge of Google platforms, including GA4 and Ads

Desirable skills and working knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Email marketing platforms
• Working knowledge of website content management systems (WordPress experience desirable)
• SEO and website UX best practices
• Content writing and storytelling – both verbal and written

The Details

Position: Part-Time Marketing Executive (with the possibility of full-time after 6 months)

Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible working hours to meet business needs)

Start Date: As soon as possible

• 21 days holiday increasing by 1 year for every 4 years of service to a maximum of 26 days, plus 8 days statutory (pro rata)
