The Role

As our new Marketing & Events Manager, you’ll take the lead on creating engaging experiences for our members, online, offline, and everywhere in between. From energising email campaigns and strategic social content to flawlessly executed events and unique activations, you’ll be the heartbeat of our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative marketing campaigns across email, social media, and other channels
• Manage and grow The Assistant Room’s digital presence with fresh, on-brand content
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual events that engage, inspire, and delight our membership community
• Collaborate on membership retention and growth strategies
• Analyse marketing metrics to optimise campaigns and demonstrate ROI
• Contribute ideas to continuously evolve our membership experience and event programming
• Be a proactive brand ambassador, always looking for fresh opportunities to enhance our reach

• A fast-paced self-starter with experience in marketing, social media, and events
• Proactive and full of ideas, with the confidence to take initiative and run with new concepts
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadline-driven
• Energised by people and love creating memorable experiences
• Skilled in content creation, campaign management, and working across multiple platforms
• Experienced in a membership-based or community-led brand (hospitality, PR or agency background also welcome)
• A quick learner who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment
