Job description

Launched in 2025, Lighthouse Social is a contemporary private members club located along Fulham riverside. With community at its heart the club's panoramic views of South West London are met with chic, eclectic interiors designed for the modern Londoner’s every need. The Club provides a welcoming and vibrant neighbourhood space where connections are made, ideas flourish and experiences are shared.

Key Responsibilities
Programming Strategy & Club Utilisation
  • Develop and deliver the monthly member events programme within the strategy, priorities and budget set by the Head of Marketing & Events.
  • Build a programme that reflects Lighthouse Social’s distinct positioning and revised club strategy, using programming as a tool to drive engagement, retention, community and frequency of club use rather than events in isolation.
  • Use programming deliberately across the club’s different spaces, days and dayparts to support utilisation and create relevant reasons for members to visit.
  • Research and propose talent, collaborators, formats and concepts aligned with member interests, cultural relevance and the club’s commercial objectives.
  • Use attendance, booking behaviour, member feedback and operational insight to shape future programming and identify gaps or opportunities.
  • Work with Membership to develop member-led communities, events and collaborations where appropriate.
Event Development & Delivery
  • Own the day-to-day delivery of approved events from concept through to completion, including talent/supplier coordination, booking requirements, briefs, run sheets, guest lists, capacities and operational documentation.
  • Coordinate room layouts, AV, F&B, supplier access, talent requirements and other operational needs with sufficient lead time.
  • Monitor bookings, attendance and cancellations and identify events requiring additional promotional support or operational intervention.
  • Attend and host events where required, ensuring a seamless and consistently high-quality member experience.
  • Complete post-event reviews covering attendance, feedback, cost, revenue where applicable, performance against objectives and key learnings.
Commercial, Cost & Revenue Management
  • Manage individual events and campaign activity within agreed budgets and approval parameters, obtaining competitive supplier and talent quotes where appropriate.
  • Assess programming not only on attendance and member satisfaction but also on cost efficiency, club utilisation and wider commercial value.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for programming to generate or support revenue, including ticketed events, F&B spend, premium experiences, partner support or other agreed commercial mechanics without compromising the member proposition.
  • Support budget forecasting and reporting and make recommendations to improve value, efficiency and return on investment.
Partnership Activations
  • Act as the day-to-day activation lead for confirmed cultural, hospitality, brand and commercial partnerships, working within the strategic and commercial direction set by the Head of Marketing & Events.
  • Translate agreed partnership rights and concepts into clear activation plans covering programming, logistics, product, assets, communications, content capture, hosting and internal responsibilities.
  • Build partner activations into the wider programming calendar so they add genuine member value and support the club experience rather than operating as standalone sponsorship activity.
  • Support post-activation reporting covering attendance, engagement, content, deliverables and commercial/member value, escalating contractual or relationship matters as required.
Marketing Delivery & Member Communications
  • Deliver campaigns and promotional plans in line with the annual marketing strategy, supporting programming, seasonal moments, F&B, partnerships, membership initiatives and wider club priorities.
  • Own the creation and collation of event/programming copy, imagery and key information for newsletters, dedicated event emails, member portal listings, digital screens, print and other member-facing communications.
  • Provide approved content inputs to the Digital & Social Media Manager, who owns the build, formatting, scheduling and digital distribution of newsletters and agreed email communications.
  • Maintain the forward marketing and communications schedule with the Head of Marketing & Events and coordinate reactive communications where programming or club access changes.
  • Support agreed Sæl Spa programming, campaigns, events and member engagement activity as part of the shared Marketing & Events function.
  • Work with the Head of Spa & Wellness to develop and deliver a dedicated Sæl Spa programme aligned with its membership strategy, wellness pillars and commercial priorities.
  • Ensure Spa activity is appropriately represented within shared calendars, communications and partnership planning while respecting the distinct needs of the Spa membership community.
  • Coordinate Spa-specific responsibilities and priorities as agreed, with clear ownership to avoid duplication or blurred lines across teams.
  • Support programming that drives member engagement, retention and frequency of use, alongside appropriate opportunities for membership acquisition and additional spend.
  • Coordinate Spa events and activations from planning through to delivery, including practitioners, instructors, partners, suppliers, guest lists, capacities, run sheets and content requirements.
  • Complete post-event reporting covering attendance, member feedback, costs, revenue or membership leads, partner deliverables and recommendations.
Planning, Brand & Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Maintain the Marketing & Events master calendar, event trackers, campaign timelines, supplier/talent records and key forward-planning documents.
  • Coordinate design, print, signage and day-to-day collateral requirements, maintaining brand consistency across member-facing materials.
  • Work closely with Membership, F&B, Operations, Private Events, Partnerships, Sæl Spa and external agencies and suppliers.
  • Ensure briefs and operational requirements are distributed with sufficient lead time and proactively follow up dependencies and outstanding actions.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting with clear insight on programme performance, utilisation, engagement, costs, revenue and learning.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience within events, programming, marketing, communications or a comparable hospitality/lifestyle environment.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering events from planning through to execution.
  • Strong understanding of how programming can drive engagement, community, utilisation and commercial performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong copywriting and proofreading ability.
  • Strong organisational and project-management skills across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, supplier quotes, POs, costs and basic performance reporting.
  • Confident working with talent, partners, agencies, designers and external suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive approach to delivery.
  • Confidence using CRM, ticketing, email marketing and day-to-day creative/administrative tools.
  • Experience within private members’ clubs, hospitality, luxury, culture or wellness.
  • Experience developing a recurring member or cultural programme rather than standalone events.
  • Experience delivering brand partnerships or sponsorship activations.
  • Existing network within London’s creative, hospitality or cultural sectors.
  • Experience working across shared brands or membership communities.
Success Measures / KPIs
  • Delivery of a distinctive, strategically aligned member programme.
  • Member attendance, engagement, satisfaction and repeat participation.
  • Improved utilisation of club spaces, days and dayparts through programming.
  • Effective cost management and delivery within agreed budgets.
  • Appropriate revenue generation and commercial contribution from programming and activations.
  • Quality and delivery of partner activations against agreed rights and objectives.
  • Timely and accurate marketing content and communications inputs.
  • Strong cross-departmental coordination and operational delivery.
  • Quality of planning, reporting, post-event learning and continuous improvement.
  • Effective support of agreed Sæl Spa programming and marketing priorities.
  • Experience delivering programming within spa, wellness, fitness, healthcare or luxury hospitality.
