The Role and Candidate

As part of our ongoing expansion in Europe, we are seeking Marketing Event Coordinators to support the execution of high-impact marketing events and campaigns. This role is based in our EU office in London and plays a key part in bringing the Pop Mart brand to life through immersive experiences and creative activations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, passionate about pop culture, and experienced in coordinating events that connect with consumers and drive brand engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of regional events, including product launches, pop-up activations, retail store openings, and brand campaigns
  • Assist in the end-to-end management of event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, on-site setup, and staffing
  • Work closely with creative, retail, and merchandising teams to ensure all event elements align with brand identity and commercial goals
  • Support the development of post-event reports, analysing performance and drawing insights to improve future event strategy
  • Build and maintain a calendar of key seasonal and cultural events for potential brand participation
  • Assist in identifying collaboration opportunities with influencers, artists, and local partners to amplify event exposure
  • Help manage event-related budgets, purchase orders, and inventory of event materials and giveaways
  • Ensure all event activities are aligned with brand guidelines and approved by relevant stakeholders at both regional and global levels

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in event marketing or brand activation, ideally in retail, FMCG, or lifestyle sectors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Passion for pop culture, events, and experiential marketing

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and event agencies
  • Proficiency in project management tools or budget tracking software
  • Knowledge of additional European languages (e.g. French, German, Italian, Spanish)
  • Exposure to international brands or cross-market event planning
