The Role
Sunspel are now looking for an exceptional Marketing Director, to work with us on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract.
The Marketing Director will curate and lead the brand strategy and positioning, customer insight CRM and all communications. This role will be a key driver in unlocking the unlimited potential of the brand heritage and presenting Sunspel as a modern luxury menswear brand to new and existing customers globally.
This role requires an individual with a strong vision and well developed digital, analytical and leadership skills to articulate what Sunspel stands for across all customer touchpoints. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will naturally have a creative / commercial brain and be responsible for all channels of the business from a brand and marketing perspective, domestically and internationally as Sunspel continues to grow.
Critical to the success of this role will be the ability to raise global brand awareness, encouraging new customers to discover the brand, and then retain them to become loyal followers through repeat purchases.
The successful candidate will have:
·A natural empathy with Sunspel and passionate about the premium / luxury market as a whole
·Experience of senior commercial marketing roles with demonstrable track record of value creation by leading the full range of marketing activities, in a multi-channel, customer-facing organisation
·A proven understanding of, and track record of delivering leading-edge digital, channel optimisation, CRM, customer acquisition and retention activities
·Proven expertise of compelling brand and campaign development, design and production across all channels. Able to combine innovative thinking with ‘roll your sleeves up’ implementation
·A deep understanding of end-to-end customer experience and touchpoints to deliver a winning multi-channel marketing strategy
·Ability to deliver value through category innovation and experience of driving executional excellence in multi-channel environments
