Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Advanced Marketing team in a 12-month fixed-term role. The position is hybrid with locations in Bognor Regis and other UK sites, working to drive multi-channel campaigns and events for the Advanced portfolio.

You will support campaign setup, data collation, content coordination, and reporting to boost awareness, submissions, and community engagement. The role requires strong organizational skills, English proficiency, and experience supporting

Qualifications

  • English and Mathematics GCSEs at level 6 or above.
  • Experience supporting a team and event organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Campaigns & Content: Support campaign manager with campaign tracker and use performance dashboards to report KPIs.
  • Campaign assets: Manage requests for banners, social graphics, email templates and editor toolkits.
  • Post-event nurture: Assist with thank-you emails, quarterly updates and lead tracking.
  • Event Support: Assist Marketing Managers in events execution and logistics for dinners, sessions and workshops.
  • Data & Reporting: Collate campaign data and prepare internal reports; support lead tracking in nurture workflows.
  • Other: Coordinate branded gift boxes; liaise with external vendors; maintain SharePoint; assist with additional projects by AMD.

This role plays a key part in event logistics, campaign setup, data collation, content coordination, and reporting, ensuring timely and effective delivery of marketing activities that drive awareness, submissions, citations, and community engagement for the Advanced portfolio.This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, fast-paced team at a stage where the portfolio's growth creates real breadth in the work. The Marketing Coordinator is uniquely positioned to experience a wide variety of tasks and gain a broad range of skills as a result; no two days are the same.As the Advanced Portfolio expands, our mission is to maximize brand awareness and ensure that key markets engage with the portfolio, which also includes new journal launches. The Marketing Coordinator role will support all of the marketing initiatives that drive towards this goal, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tasks. Initiative, organization, and an action-oriented mindset will all be key factors to success in this role, and the successful candidate will enjoy the ability to get involved in creative brainstorming and data analysis to inform future plans.The role requires the Marketing Coordinator to multi-task, manage numerous tasks simultaneously as assigned by marketers in different global locations. The ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines will therefore be essential.**Job Responsibilities:**Campaigns & Content:· Support campaign manager with campaign tracker.· Use performance dashboards to support reporting on KPIs such as MIS, MIA, and lead generation.· Manage requests for campaign/content assets (e.g. banners, social graphics, email templates, editor toolkits).· Support with post-event nurture activities such as thank-you emails, quarterly updates, and lead tracking.Event Support:· Support Marketing Managers in the execution of the events strategy, including creating digital & physical assets, graphics, etc.· Logistical support for Advancing Together dinners, happy hours, Meet-the-Editor sessions, Advanced Workshops, Sponsorships, Advanced Summit.Data & Reporting:· Collate campaign performance data and assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders.· Support lead generation tracking and integration into nurture workflows.· Maintain accurate records of campaign metrics and event outcomes.Other:· Manage creation & distribution of branded gift boxes.· Working with external vendors and suppliers.· Maintain the Advanced Marketing SharePoint.· Additional team support and projects as deemed appropriate by AMD.**Required Qualifications:**· English and Mathematics GCSEs at level 6 or above, plus further recognized qualification in a discipline related to English, Math, Science or Business.· Experience supporting a team and experience supporting event organization.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).· Excellent organizational and time management skills.· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.· Customer focused.· Knowledge of marketing and its purpose in an organization.· Project coordination abilities.· Business & financial acumen.· Strong organizational and planning skills.· Self-motivated.· Team player and excellent collaborator.· Excellent English-language written and oral skills. **Preferred Qualifications:**· Experience supporting a team in a large organization.· Experience within academic publishing/publishing/academia.· Experience working in cross-locational teams.· Experience working with external vendors.· Experience managing administrative tasks related to invoicing and payments. **We power infinite possibilities.** For more than 200 years, we've transformed knowledge into discoveries that shape the world.
