Job summary

The Caraires Consultancy is seeking a Marketing Communications Assistant to join the Rugby-based team. This role blends creative, digital, practical and administrative marketing duties, requiring 1–2 years of professional experience and a proactive, organised approach in a busy office environment.

Office-based in Rugby, the position offers 31–37 hours per week with a salary up to £30,000 dependent on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of marketing experience in a professional setting.
• Comfortable using digital tools including social media platforms, email tools and Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and experience working in a team.
• Great attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Ability to move/pack boxes for delivery.
• Organisational skills with ability to plan ahead and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Drafting simple, engaging content for social media.
• Creating and editing images and videos for social media, case studies, exhibition announcements using Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe.
• Maintaining the communications calendar and scheduling posts/events.
• Updating platforms to manage release of social media posts.
• Managing corporate gifts including packing and shipping.
• Supporting management of contractors and suppliers for photography, print, design, web and PR services.
• Updating the company intranet and websites.
