Job summary

Dachser UK & Ireland is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead strategic marketing and corporate communications across the region. The role focuses on driving brand visibility, overseeing digital content, campaigns, and external and internal communications in line with corporate standards.

You will manage budgets, lead a small team, collaborate with Head Office Corporate Marketing, and represent DACHSER at events and exhibitions.

• Extensive experience in Digital Marketing.
• 5+ years of experience in communications and marketing, especially digital and communications strategies.
• Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee communication and digital marketing strategies across the UK & Ireland.
• Plan, create, and manage engaging digital content across websites, social media channels, email campaigns, and other online platforms to support brand awareness and business objectives.
• Plan and execute PR, media, and digital marketing campaigns, monitoring performance and engagement against agreed KPIs.
• Manage and maintain all UK & Ireland websites, digital platforms, and intranet content, ensuring information remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with corporate branding.
• Support the development and delivery of impactful internal and external communication initiatives.
• Facilitate Quarterly Communication Review (QCR) meetings, ensuring effective communication of results, initiatives, and key objectives. Prepare and distribute QCR reports to all relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute the annual UK & Ireland Marketing and Communication plan.
• Prepare and manage budgets for communication and marketing activities within the UK & Ireland region.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members while maintaining strong working relationships with the Head Office Corporate Marketing team and UK branches, ensuring compliance with Corporate Design standards, Corporate Guidelines, and company policies.
• Represent DACHSER UK & Ireland at all internal Corporate Marketing forums and externally at various events, exhibitions and awards ceremonies

Purpose Of the Role:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Extensive experience within Digital Marketing
• Minimum 5 years of experience within communications, and marketing, particularly in the development and implementation of digital and communication strategies in a similar position, experience in PR would be advantageous.
• Outstanding communication skills –both verbally and in writing.
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
