Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Liverpool City Centre (office-based)

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday

About Qair

Qair Renewables UK is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the team at our Liverpool office. The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing & Acquisitions department and help to implement various marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, and print.

Qair is a fast-growing renewable energy developer working across solar, wind, and battery storage, with a growing presence in the UK and across Europe. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career marketer to gain hands-on experience and play a key role in our brand’s digital and public presence. You’ll be supporting the Marketing Executive and gaining valuable exposure to real-world marketing and communications strategies in a purpose-driven industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create images and graphics for use on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and all other company requirements such as internal materials.
2. Assist in producing high-quality written content and copy for social media and websites.
3. Assist in preparing communication materials for landowner outreach and public consultation events for proposed renewable energy projects.
4. Support lead generation through online sources and social media advertising (full training will be provided).
5. Help with recording and analyzing results and data from marketing campaigns.
6. Assist the established marketing and acquisitions team by undertaking and developing marketing campaigns as directed, but also by initiating new and innovative ideas.
7. Educate others on the benefits of large-scale utility renewable energy projects through our marketing and communication efforts (full training will be given).
8. Provide marketing support across all businesses within the wider company.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers as needed.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent writing skills - ability to write engaging copy.
• An eye for detail and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of digital marketing metrics and reporting.
• Knowledge of social media marketing, particularly Meta Ads Manager.
• Interest in learning about the renewable energy sector, especially large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Friendly demeanor, able to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive office culture.
• Good time management skills and ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role (including university placements or internships).
• Desirable: Adobe Creative Suite or Canva proficiency.
• Desirable: Interest or experience in renewable energy, sustainability, or public engagement.
