Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit sporting event organisers. Inspired by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE, our events raise millions for good causes and bring communities together across the country. We’re now looking for a dedicated Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of high-impact campaigns that help us grow participation and celebrate the incredible stories behind every race.

About the Role:

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in the planning and execution of traditional marketing campaigns that promote our events and build public awareness. From managing print and out-of-home advertising to liaising with local partners, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about events, people, and purpose-driven marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production and distribution of marketing materials, including leaflets, brochures, posters, and signage
• Support the coordination of advertising across print, radio, and outdoor channels
• Help plan and deliver local and regional promotional activity
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners, such as printers and distribution teams
• Provide support at promotional events, community outreach days, and race days
• Conduct market research and gather feedback to support future campaign planning
• Help maintain and update marketing databases and mailing lists
• Provide general administrative support to the wider marketing team

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

• A keen interest in marketing and events
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Confidence working with external partners and suppliers
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in events
• A full UK driving license (desirable, but not essential)

Experience in a marketing, events, or charity environment is beneficial, but not essential — we're happy to support training for the right candidate with the right attitude and potential.
