Birmingham, we operate a Hybrid working policy and employees are required to be in the Birmingham office a minimum of 2 days per week

Hours

Full time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant with a passion for sustainability, looking to embark on their marketing career or perhaps develop their skills, to join our expanding team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Joining a passionate unique team within Bryt Energy where marketing meets sustainability and drives the company’s purpose.
  • Living and breathing the Bryt Energy brand and purpose to ensure consistency and accuracy across everything we do.
  • Be at the forefront of not only sustainability marketing but being involved with education and engaging campaigns to inspire businesses to challenge their status quo and think differently about their energy strategy to get them to Net Zero.
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department’s activities.
  • Supporting the Marketing team to develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix that successfully drives brand awareness, purchase, penetration and retention of products and services to target audiences.
  • Support all marketing collateral production in line with brand guidelines and ensure all-around consistency of content (style, fonts, images and tone of voice)
  • Assist with the ongoing production of brand/promotion competitor analysis and reporting & highlight key insights for action by the team.
  • Write engaging customer email communications using Bryt Energy’s professional but friendly tone of voice to win, grow and retain customers.
  • Manage distribution of email campaigns through email systems and align with Salesforce and promote accurate data collection across partner and customer accounts.
  • Work with Content Writer to collate up to date information from all departments/sector trends and compile an ongoing set of tender answers and insights.
  • Help organise events, trade shows, exhibitions and seminars, making bookings and overseeing the guest list.
  • Support the Marketing Team with day-to-day website and social media activity.
  • Support with any internal employee engagement initiatives to drive the culture and sustainability of the business.
  • Liaise and engage with key stakeholders, external agencies, suppliers, partners and customers as required and investigate any new value-add customer/partner media or channels that could successfully support delivery against business objectives.
  • Work with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain customer and market contact data in line with GDPR requirements and any other regulatory requirements such as the ASA/CMA green code.
  • Continuously identify, develop and document processes, collateral and reports that will benefit the team and company.
  • Where necessary take on extra responsibilities outside of your role

Education and Training:

  • Understanding of a customer facing /sales /marketing role.
  • Conversant with marketing/creative processes and production tools and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications e.g., PowerPoint.
  • Experience or an interest in renewable energy and sustainability desirable.
  • Qualifications in Marketing/CIM desirable.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing best practice and trends.
  • Understanding of effective Marketing Communications.
  • Take ownership and be accountable for their own work.
  • Great communication skills, and very capable of working within a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Self-starter, able to work to tight deadlines, managing multiple projects whilst being focused on key objectives.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels/backgrounds and develop and maintain effective and credible working relationships.
