Job summary

The Hyndburn Academy is seeking a creative Marketing Apprentice to join our team in Blackburn. You will gain practical experience across content creation, social media, events, communications, and brand management, helping to deliver campaigns and promote achievements within the local community.

The role is varied and suits someone who enjoys being creative, working with people, and bringing ideas to life. Training is provided through a Level 3 apprenticeship with CIM Foundation qualification

Qualifications

Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for content creation.
Interest in marketing, content creation, photography, or social media.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create engaging content for digital and print channels (social, newsletters, promo materials).
Write and publish news stories showcasing events and achievements.
Support displays, branded materials, and wider communications.
Help manage social channels and update the website content.
Capture photography/video at events and support campaigns.
