Job description

Join to apply for the Marketing and School Liaison Officer role at Henry Blue.

This role involves building relationships with local schools, colleges, and sixth forms, coordinating engagement activities, and supporting student recruitment by promoting college courses and services. The position reports to the Schools Engagement Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, and requires travel between campuses and to schools, with some evening and weekend commitments. Candidates must have a valid driving license and own a car.

Key Responsibilities
  1. School Engagement and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and partner organizations, represent the college, and develop tailored communications.
  2. Event Coordination and Attendance: Organize and attend various school and college events, deliver presentations, and support event logistics.
  3. Education Awareness and Knowledge: Keep updated on college offerings and curriculum developments, and communicate these effectively.
  4. Marketing & Communications: Create and deliver communications via email, social media, and print, especially during key academic periods.
  5. Administrative Tasks and Reporting: Maintain records, contribute to reports, evaluate activities, and support promotional content development.
Other Requirements
  • Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and adhere to safeguarding policies.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, and willing to travel.
  • Support the college’s values and policies, including health and safety, equality, and data protection.
Role Expectations
  • Regular travel between campuses and to schools in the area.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and own vehicle.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours around key events.
