Start People Ltd in Hounslow, West London, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant to join its growing marketing team. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, and offers a salary up to £37,000 per year.

You’ll develop engaging content, manage social media, support events and lead-generation campaigns across the UK and Ireland markets, collaborating closely with colleagues across regions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or a similar role.
• Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience supporting social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Experience using Canva or similar design software.

About the opportunity

An established international logistics business is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Communications Assistant to join its growing marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with 2–3 years’ experience who enjoys creating engaging content, managing social media, supporting events and delivering effective marketing campaigns.

Working with colleagues across the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets, you’ll play an important role in delivering marketing communications, supporting lead-generation activity and helping to strengthen customer engagement across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

About you

We’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and well organised, with a genuine interest in marketing and communications.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or similar role.
• Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience supporting social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Experience using Canva or similar creative design software.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive approach, attention to detail and a willingness to contribute new ideas.

Experience within the logistics, supply chain or transport sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
